I gave birth to identical twin girls at 28 weeks because of severe HELLP syndrome. McKenzie weighed 2 pounds 2 ounces. She was in the NICU for 2 months and 2 days. Madison weighed 1 pound 9 ounces. She was born with a Diaphragmatic Hernia. She was on a jet vent and nitric oxide, and too many drugs to list. She had her repair surgery when she was 5 weeks old. She was doing better and got off the nitric, jet vent and the vent and went to c-pap. She had lazer eye surgery for ROP stage three. She ended up getting the hernia back. She was still tolerating feeds. They were going to doa repair and a feeding tube and fix her hiatal hernia. She ended up getting sick and they placed a broviac. She ended up developing pneumonia. She
went back to the vent, nitric and jet and the oscilator. She kept getting worse. Her one lung ended up collapsong. We chose to let her go.

ALL THE FLOWERS IN HEAVEN GIVE OF THE SMELL JUST LIKE PURFUME
SO MANY OF US ANGELS ARE EVEN GOING TO FLY AROUND THE MOON

THE CAKES THE ANGELS MADE ARE A DELIGHT TO SEE
ONE OF THOSE CAKES IS SO SPECAIL IT WAS MADE JUST FOR ME
JELLY AND ICECREAM LOTS OF FIZZY DRINKS FOR US ALL
TODAY ON MY BIRTHDAY EACH AND EVERY ANGEL WILL BE HAVING A BALL

What kind of place would heaven be with all its streets of gold, if all the souls, that dwell up there like yours and mine, were old? How strange would heaven’s music sound when harps begin to ring, if children were not gathered ‘round to help the angels sing. The children that God sends to us are only just a loan, He knows we need their sunshine to make the house a home. We need the inspiration of a baby’s blessed smile. He doesn’t say they’ve come to stay, just lends them for a while. Sometimes it takes them years to do the work for which they come. Sometimes in just a month or two our Father calls them home. I like to think some souls up there bear not one sinful scar. I love to think of heaven as a place where children are.

Now, from Heaven up above.
You’re wondering if I’ll celebrate
My Birthday (way up here).
I know you’re missing me today
I feel your essence near.
God planned a special day for me,
He told me with a wink.

(It’s Angel food, I think).
Balloons will fill the streets for me,
They float up through the clouds.
And we have lots of friends up here
